Thanks for the update, this is quite a big improvement. Just one
clarification on Mission statement:

- Is it correct that the proposed ICANN mission from the begging to the end
is the text highlighted in blue on page 24 - 25? as the next 2 paragraph
seem to create some confusion. I am referring specifically to the text
below:

"The Mission Statement further clarifies that ICANN shall act strictly in
accordance with, and only as
reasonably appropriate to achieve it’s Mission.
Without in any way limiting the foregoing absolute prohibition, ICANN shall
not regulate services that use the Internet's unique identifiers, or the
content that such services carry or provide. ICANN shall have the ability
to enforce agreements with contracted parties, subject to established means
of community input on those agreements and reasonable checks and balances
on its ability to impose obligations exceeding ICANN’s Mission on
registries and registrars."

Will be good to know if the above statement is part of the proposed mission
statement as its not highlighted in blue. If yes i think that would be
unnecessary as I believe the mission proposed is already sufficient;
Following the approach of defining what "ICANN does" is better and easier
to route than trying to write what "ICANN does not do" in a mission
statement.
