I liked this quote from the blog post:

"We believe getting the last bits resolved is possible -- and probable -- before this week ends."

The Internet Society believes that getting the last bits resolved this week are possible as well as probable.  That is a win-win.  ISOC should continue to work to highlight the possibilities of progress for the ICANN community, as well as continuing to note when ISOC believes those possibilities are also probable, so as to generate excitement by fostering hope for a probable resolution.
