just to be clear, Steve Crocker has said on this list if I am not
mistaken that the trademark is defensive and would go with the IANA
F Unction Manager (ie to PTI or whoever).

The junior Senator from Alberta and his conservative cohorts are not
talking about that here, they are talking about the root zone
(databases).

And as distressing this is, they may have a point.
