That was NOT clear to me, and based on the list of names of those who have submitted requests, not to others as well.

That is not quite what the policy that was published says. The CCWG-Accountability has a fixed budget for member travel period. As such all travel funding must use the process even if only for 1 night of hotel.

The policy also says that the co-chairs can break up the amounts as they see fit and should work to maximize member participation. As such I would expect that member requests for 1 or 2 extra days of hotel would be considered very seriously to maximize participation.

I would also like to remind participants that the funding is for Members only and that the list of Members can be found at https://community.icann.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=59640780 .

Dear CCWG-Acct. Community,

I wanted to reach out to apologize for the initial short turn around for submitting your CCWG-ACCT travel support application to attend the November 2nd face-to-face meeting in Hyderabad.  

I appreciate everyoneâ€™s patience as we work with Constituency Travel on the process needed to ensure that travel arrangements for CCWG members can be handled in a timely manner.  As a result, we have been able to obtain additional time for CCWG members who have not yet had the opportunity to submit an application to do so.  

Please plan to have your application for CCWG-ACCT travel support submitted to acct-staff at icann.org <mailto:acct-staff at icann.org>  by August 12th. 

I would also like to thank everyone who has already submitted an application for funding; the applications that have been received are being posted on the WS2 wiki under travel support at https://community.icann.org/display/WEIA/Travel+Support
