When I said Internet Principles, I meant principles such as promoting open architecture, protection of intermediaries, preserving human rights, IG process principles, promoting open standards, privacy, diversity, security and stability etc.. <br><br>Please refer set of Internet principles endorsed by NETMundial: <a href="https://www.netmundial.org/principles">https://www.netmundial.org/principles</a> <br><div><br></div><div>These are over-arching principles, that go beyond technical standards adopted by IETF. In this context, I again post my questions:<br><br><ol style="font-size:12.8000001907349px"><li style="margin-left:15px">Should a body like ICANN define and adopt Internet Principles it believes in, for its policy, strategy and operations? <br><br></li><li style="margin-left:15px">Are group members aware whether decision of endorsement of NETmundial principles is through a public consultation process involving community or an internal ICANN decision unknown to community? <p dir="ltr">ICANN community sure makes her our principles, the question was asking about who makes INTERNET principles and the closest answer I have to that is the IETF which sets operating standards of the internet globally (Protocol parameters).</p>
