Hi Eberhard

Because I really want us to be avoiding the briar pit of defining
phrases like "respecting the fundamental rights", can you help me by
approaching this another way. Can you now or in the future write a
specific statement which says, "ICANN should treat its staff
with.... and respect...; ICANN should treat Constituents with...;
ICANN shall treat affected parties with..... " Then I may have a
clearer and more specific view of actionable behaviour expected.
I note that the ICANN Accountability and Transparency Frameworks and
Principles in 2008 included the following. Perhaps it is this sort
of statement that could be usefully amended to meet your needs? :
I understand Keith opposition to extending ICANN's mission, to mean ICANN treat whoever it deals with (such as staff, constituents, (directly) affected parties and the like) by respecting the fundamental rights.
And this is exactly what I want/mean.
