I am on record as thinking that an ill-prepared meeting with the Board will do more harm than good, as will a truncated one, and associate myself with Malcom on the underlying question.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Leaving that aside, however, I offer the following practical observation – time is fleeting. I think that, at a minimum, the Co-Chairs need to confirm a meeting in LA (currently thought to be the 25<sup>th</sup> and 26<sup>th</sup>) no more than 2 weeks prior – i.e. no later than this Friday. I also think that, at a minimum, the substance of the Board’s comments that will be the subject of discussion should be circulated no later than 1 week prior – i.e. September 18 – so that those who cannot attend in person have an adequate opportunity to express their views in response.
