<div>this is great and I would be very surprised if Grace did not follow the publicly archived mailing list and be pleased with the level of support the letter gets. </div>

<div>I do like the idea of putting the names of those that wish to be included on the letter. </div>

<div>However, I am not sure this is fair. Let me explain why: A lot of folks are on vacation and might not be able to indicate their wish to us in time for the submission. Leaving those out would not accurately reflect their views. </div>

<div>To be perfectly honest, I do not think a single individual would not want to be included, but I would not want to make people signatories to a letter that they have not explicitly approved. </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Let me therefore suggest that we clarify that the letter is sent on behalf of the whole group and that multiple persons have asked us to clarify that this is not a letter by the co-chairs, but by the whole group. </div>
