[ALT-Plus] [ALAC-Members] RSVP - Revised 2019 ALAC Monthly Call schedule

Unfortunately, among our five regions, NA and LAC are in the same time zone, EU and AF are in the same time zone, while AP is everybody else who itself emcompasses over 10 time zones.

If the new schedule makes it really difficult for some to participate, I am OK to share more pain.

Kaili

@ Alan and Tijani - perhaps others are beginning to understand what it means to participate in ICANN calls when in Sydney! Calls are always going to be difficult for some. And I am more than happy to share the pain with others.

With Tijani's revision, 2/3 calls would be in the middle of East-cost Canada night. I'm starting to feel like Cheryl.

Thank you Gisella for your effort to find the less painful slots for all of us.

If we can replace 02:00 - 05:00 by 05:00 - 07:00, it would be much better for Europe and Africa.
If it is not painful for the other regions, I suggest to make this change.

        Thank you again.

          Dear All,

Further to the At-Large Debrief and Next Steps for ICANN65 meeting held in Kobe on Thursday 14 March, during which the 2019 ALAC Rotating times were discussed, please find attached a schedule for the remainder of the 2019 Monthly calls as well as the local times across the time zones (regions observing DST taken into account) with rotating times of:
            a.. 16:00 – 18:00 UTC
            b.. 02:00 – 04:00 UTC
            c.. 08:00 – 10:00 UTC

As mentioned during the meeting, for ALAC Members and Liaisons in particular, please be flexible. With members across all time-zones, it is challenging to find times that suit all regions.

          Please confirm:
a.. whether you agree with the above three rotating time slots
a.. We are trying to share the pain!
b.. Whether you see any major issue with any of the dates & times suggested.
Our next meeting is currently scheduled on 23 April 2019 at 16:00 UTC . The meeting invitation will be sent out shortly.

          Thank you.
          Kind regards,
          Gisella
