Subject: [Ext] At-Large Leadership Development

Dear At-Large Leaders

For our first ALT+ meeting for this new ICANN year, the ALAC Leadership Team has been working on the workplan that we will be undertaking during the upcoming year to fulfil our responsibilities within ICANN with regards to assisting with ICANN policy development and advice to the Board, as well as our outreach and engagement activities within ICANN as well as in our communities outside of ICANN.

I see this new year as a consolidation year following our journey through ATLAS and At-Large Review, and I'd like to concentrate on strengthening our leadership capacity and developing our resources (people and "assets") for more effective contribution to our ongoing policy and outreach activities.

We will be holding this session on Thursday 19 November, but a doodle will also be coming out today to try to identify the most convenient time for us to meet - gathering together as many of our At-Large leaders from the ALAC and the ALT+  at one time - which is a mission at any time.

The proposed agenda of the session is as follows:
1) an introduction to the workplan by the work team leads (Jonathan, Joanna, Daniel and myself) and our objectives and activities for the year (30 mins)
2) Staff will then introduce themselves and the resources that are currently available or are being produced to help us achieve our workplan objectives (30 mins)
3) A session with Melissa Allgood looking at how we might efficiently and effectively achieve our objectives for At-Large and ICANN, as a Leadership Team. (30 mins)

 I am hoping that you will find this a helpful session for getting aligned with what we will be working on within At-Large (not counting what other involvements that ICANN may request us to participate in, which will add to  what could be another busy year).
