Hi All,

I¡¯m unclear where we will be in the process at the face to face meeting
in Cartagena and thus what its purpose is.

According to the work schedule
(http://www.icann.org/en/reviews/affirmation/proposed-work-schedule-atrt-0
2jul10-en.pdf),

October 31, 2010 ¨C Management Assessor¡¯s final report to RT

December 5©\10 ¨C RT meeting in Cartegena; presentation of draft
recommendations to ICANN Community and Community feedback

December 31, 2010 ¨C Final recommendations submitted

So I think I need to know the following before I can sensibly comment any
further.;

a) When is it intended to release the draft recommendations?

b) Is it intended that the comment period will close at Cartagena or
after?

c) What is the purpose of the face to face meeting?

Cheers,

Hi Chris

LACTLD will have a Workshop before ICANN (i made some comments about it in
past meetings of the ATRT), this workshop will be 2-4 December (in
cartagena) (about Commercial Aspects for ccTLDs) and we will have a
Assembly of members.. So i suggest keep the original idea to have the
meeting after ICANN.

Yours

Erick

Hi Alice,

Cartagena: thanks for the information. As I shall, of course, be attending
the ICANN meeting as ccNSO Chair, I already have accommodation booked
(Sofitel) so won¡¯t need anything additional booking from ICANN.

All,

I have to leave Cartagena latest Saturday 11th. In any event, it seems to
me that it would be most useful if an ATRT meeting should take place in
Cartagena BEFORE the ICANN meeting rather than after.

Cheers,

Cartagena:

I have informed our meeting staff of your lodging requirements for the
Cartagena meeting. They have a pre-conference meeting scheduled for
mid-August in Cartagena at which time they shall be able to identify the
best hotel for the ATRT¡¯s needs. Rest assured that I will keep a close
eye on this matter. Meanwhile a list of the hotels selected by ICANN may
be found at: http://cartagena39.icann.org/venue

Please know that no meeting space is available after Friday, December 10th
and that additional internet support will be ending by late Friday
afternoon. Moreover, some of the space will be given back by Friday.

Thank you,

Best regards

Alice
