I fully agree on the urgency of finalizing this ..
I think we should be targeting full attendance of team members ..
In addition to points raised by Fabio below, and although I see the benefit of meeting after the ICANN week, Alice mentioned clearly that there may be difficulty in finding space for our meeting should we decide to meet after:
 
"Please know that no meeting space is available after Friday, December 10th and that additional internet support will be ending by late Friday afternoon. Moreover, some of the space will be given back by Friday."

    Dear all,

tonight we shall try to make progress towards agreeing the dates for our face to face meeting in Cartagena.  One of the reasons why we need to make progress is the need to start booking our hotel rooms.

I have had a look at the material that Alice has sent us and I see some problems.

a) It would be desirable for all of us to be in the same hotel;

b) Chris has already indicated that he has already booked his room at the Sofitel;

c) however, the Sofitel, the Cartagena de Indias and the Charleston Santa Teresa are far too expensive for most of us: more than 300 US dollars per night (371 $ for the Sofitel;

d) I think that we will have to agree that most of us will have to go to either the Caribe or the Las Americas.
