Thanks Becky ..
As per today's discussion, we have agreed on having one more team on Independent Review of Board - IRB as suggested by Warren ..

Volunteers for the four teams are currently as follows:

Team #1 - Board Performance: Fabio, Olivier, Zhang, Willie

Team #2 - GAC Role: Fabio, Zhang, Manal, Larry, Willie

Team #3 - Community/Stakeholder engagement: Warren, Cheryl, Olivier, louie

Team #4 - Independent Review of Board: Warren, Cheryl, louie, Larry

It's worth noting that Peter has abstained from joining any of the groups ..
Since not everyone was present in the room we may still have more volunteers ..

I think a next step would be each group submitting a few bullets identifying the scope of work of the team and designating a point of contact for this team ..

I hope this sounds fine ..

Kind Regards

الموضوع: [AT-Review] with apologies to Warren and Peter, and in the interests of time, my cut at the working group structure

Proposed Working Group Structure

Three working groups will be set up to drive the AT-Review Team’s work in each of the areas set forth in the Affirmation of Commitments. The relevant working group would take the lead on data gathering, analysis, and initial assessment, based on agreed upon performance metrics and considering, among other things, the degree to which ICANN's decisions are embraced, supported and accepted by relevant stakeholders.

Team # 1. Board performance, including governance, selection, composition (necessary skill set mix), accessibility, decision-making, and dispute resolution/complaint handling, and independent review of Board decisions.

Team # 2. GAC role, including interactions with Board and community, the existence of shared and clearly understood expectations with respect to the GAC’s role in ICANN’s decision-making processes, the quality and actionability of GAC input, and ICANN’s responsiveness to that input.

Team # 3. Community/Stakeholder engagement, including effectiveness and quality of ICANN support for the policy development process, the quality of PDP output and the extent to which the ICANN PDP develops consensus, including across stakeholder groups, the level and quality of public input into the ICANN process, and the extent to which such input is reflected in ICANN decision-making.
