GovernanceAdvisor

All,

I'm forwarding the email I received from Urs Gasser regarding the
addition of John Coates to the Berkman Center team. Coates is a
professor of law and economics, and former corporate lawyer. I've
attached his bio, some recent Congressional testimony on corporate
governance, and some information about the Harvard Law School corporate
governance program.

Dear Becky,

I'm delighted to confirm that Professor John Coates of Harvard Law
School, an expert in Corporate Governance, has nominally agreed to
serve as an advisor to our proposed project. In addition, the Berkman
Center would host a series of integrated working meetings with focus
on this particular issue and also invite colleagues from the business
school to participate. Finally, I would like to add that I have
myself done quite some work in this area during my tenure at the
University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if further information is
required. Also, please feel free to forward this message to whom it
may concern.

Sincerely,
-Urs
