Dear ATRT2 Members,

As I mentioned on your last conference call, Larisa Gurnick is transitioning
into directing the full range of ICANN Staff review responsibilities. This
includes  the assessment of, and improvement guidance for, ICANN structures
and AoC commitments, and developing, adapting and executing strategies to
achieve key objectives in these areas. She will be Staff's substantive
liaison to the Affirmation of Commitment review teams (ATRT2 and the
upcoming Consumer/Competition Review), will advise and support the Board's
work  on structural and Affirmation reviews, and will be working closely
with Alice Jansen and coordinating with other Staff involved in these
issues. You may know Larisa from her past consulting work on ICANN strategic
and operational planning and the new gTLD program. She can be reached at

joining you at your Beijing meeting.

Larisa Gurnick is a senior executive with over 25 years of experience in
strategy, marketing and operations in banking, non-profit membership
associations, and professional services. She has been consulting for ICANN
for the past year, facilitating the previous strategic planning process and
managing several projects for the New gTLD team. Previously, Larisa was the
CEO of the National Notary Association, and served in executive positions at
Countrywide Bank, California Bankers Association and First Federal Bank of
California. She began her career as an Audit Manager at KPMG. Larisa also
serves a pro-bono consultant with the Taproot Foundation, where she has led
a number of strategic planning projects for LA non-profits. She holds a BS
in Business Administration, is a Certified Public Accountant, and holds a
Management Development for Entrepreneurs Certificate from the UCLA Anderson
School. Larisa resides in Los Angeles.
