member of this IRTP-B working group (and many, many other working groups), this
line of thinking is a very dangerous ‘slippery slope’ for business interests in

GNSO Council with bylaw responsibility to develop policy. Power must
remain entirely with the Council, rather than with unelected, unrepresentative,
self-appointed volunteers to working groups (who can come from literally
anywhere with little or no knowledge of anything).<o:p></o:p></span></p>

if it is satisfied that the group was properly constituted and properly
addressed its Charter. But Council must have latitude to change or even
ignore those recommendations if it, as a body, sees fit under the
circumstances. And we should not whine about that, particularly so loudly
over such a truly trivial issue as this one. So I am disappointed in
these comments by my good friend Zahid, and wish that more would be done to get
comments from the BC list before such comments are made by our representatives.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
