Hello All,

I have a flight around the time of the call, so won’t be able to contribute during the call.

In the spirit of keeping ICANN's mission limited, but not stopping ICANN from doing its core activities going forward, here is some language to think about:

“Coordinates the allocation and assignment of names in the root zone of the Domain Name System, and the allocations and assignment of names by gTLD registry operators and ICANN accredited registrars.”

This would exclude the allocation of names by registrants and the lower DNS levels of their domain names.
