Hi all,

I hope many of you are preparing for a well-deserved holiday break. I
would like to offer you a holiday present in the form of a Human Rights
Impact Assessment model for Internet registries.

https://www.article19.org/resources/assessing-human-rights-impacts-internet-registries/

This model has been developed by ARTICLE19 in collaboration with the
Danish Institute for Human Rights and SIDN, the ccTLD for .nl.

Of course all comments and suggestions based on the model are more than
welcome. If you're a registry and interested in doing an HRIA, please
also get in touch.

Mayhaps this model can also help us in the discussion on how we can live
up to the Human Right bylaw in the different SOs and ACs.

If you're reading this timely, we're having a workshop about this topic
in one hour (at 12:20 CET) at the IGF in room XXVI - E , you can find
the link to the session here:

All the best,

Niels
