Dear CCWP HR Members,

What is the state of the FOI after the Barcelona meeting?
Is there a concrete timeline for the approval by the Board, or at least GAC? I assume the earliest possibility is now Kobe meetings, if that?
Best wishes,

Monika

Dear Micheal,

Thanks for the update. Maybe a concrete timeline for the approval by the Board has become clearer?
Best wishes,

Monika

Hi all!

We actually just got an update on this from Bernie at today's CCWP meeting, so I thought I would offer a small clarification.

The WS2 recommendations have been approved by the GNSO and, as of today, by the ALAC. We were told that the ccNSO will hopefully approve before the end of ICANN63... but the GAC has not yet approved, and we are unsure when that might be forthcoming. As of the moment the recommendations are not on the Board's agenda for Barcelona, since that will only happen once there has been approval from all SOs and ACs.

So - no firm timeline for approval yet, but hopefully we will get more information and a clearer timeframe soon.

Best,

Michael Karanicolas
