Hi,

as Olivier reminded it, it is a cross-community working party. well yet another new specie of working setting within ICANN :)

my understanding since Singapore session is to have something ad-hoc for the time-being, starting quickly the work with volunteers from different parts of ICANN , having the goals highlighted in the charter and then moving to more formal setting when SOs/ACs are ready e.g. post CWG work .

however, we can inform the SOs/ACs about the charter, maybe also a tentative timeline, and keep them updated so they would be able to approve in due time and plan for the forthcoming workload.

Best,

Rafik

2015-04-22 4:07 GMT+09:00 Patrik Fältström <paf@netnod.se>:

Thanks Olivier...I might got things upside down...too many things even for people like me :-P

That said, I think this "by the drafting team accepted charter" explicitly should be sent to the SO/AC.

For example, I have no idea whether SSAC officially would/will support this group, and/or how SSAC choose to interact with it.

So at least I must get some time as chair of SSAC to deal with SSAC.

That the group will now launch I think is clear (given you correcting me Olivier), we only do not know what formal support might might get.

Do not pause or stop working just because of this! :-)
