    I wanted to belatedly share how much we are looking forward to your

    contributions in the working groups -- and second your call below!

    Human rights are a key part of the Registration Directory Services

    Working Group (designed to rewrite the Whois, and therefore looking

    closely at data protection laws) and the Rights Protection Mechanism

    WG, looking at domain name disputes, and legitimate reasons to seize

    and defend domain names (with all of the implications for freedom of

    expression, trademark law, etc). I know the New gTLD Subsequent

    Procedures WG is revisiting rules for future rounds rolling out new

    generic top level domains.<br>

    So hats off to all of you, and thank you. We certainly need your

    expertise, insight and guidance in the WGs now in progress!<br>

One final message that I would like to relay from Kathy Kleiman, and

this is also something I sensed from Avri and Stephanie: there is a lot

of work in the PDPs and we need to ensure we won't duplicate. But the

CCWP HR SG3 can also form a useful platform to relay bite size pieces of

work to support people in the PDPs, so if you, next to bigger sizes you

might bite off, define some smaller pieces of work to take on, that

would help the people doing the heavy lifting in the PDPs, I think that

would be great.

The theoretical frameworks that are needed you can of course also

request from the colleagues in SG1.

Hope it all works out. I'll also attend but (try to) be in listening mode :)
