<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-fareast-language:EN-US">What happened during the first round of TLD has been a dramatic experience from which we have all to learn a lot to avoid to repeat similar mistake in the future.</span><span lang="EN-IE"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-fareast-language:EN-US">I would add one more point. We need also some “positive discriminations”.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-fareast-language:EN-US">It’s morally unacceptable that communities seeking to get the recognition of their rights could be trapped in a process (like the CPE), that cost 10 times more than announced/expected
and drag for 5 years. And they have to support all costs, having in front giants like Amazon, Google or Tld companies that have at their payroll dozens of lawyers…</span><span lang="EN-IE"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-fareast-language:EN-US">This is totally unfair and those that are fighting for their rights cannot be considered as those that are only making business as usual.</span><span lang="EN-IE"><o:p></o:p></span></p>

lack consideration for the human rights impact. Being part of all public comment processes is also extremely important and necessary given that the multi-stakeholder model is fueled by documented voices, and gives preference to majority voices over minority. </span><span lang="EN-IE"><o:p></o:p></span></p>

instincts and experience of human rights experts to compliment or challenge PDP discussions on the merits, and not legacy. Understanding the mission and scope of ICANN is important, but I don't think full historical or procedural integration is necessary or
necessarily healthy inside an organization that should be open to all inspiration and energy that helps it better develop policy to serve the global public interest. </span><span lang="EN-IE"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
