Dear Marika

Great presentation from ICANN.

However, I am just raising a small suggestion which I hope we can all embrace.

I am copying Sally just because I am thinking outloud about how we, at ICANN "save" our planet with just a small change.

I know, I know, that is not our mission but it cannot hurt.

I propose that ICANN change its use of templates so that there are no full pages of color, as there are in this presentation -- the Cover page and the page with Appendix uses a LOT of blue ink.

Now, of course, we don't need to print all presentations, but some will need to, as English is not their native language and

some have to work off line. And some of us have to print as we have to work while flying to and from the ICANN meetings.

Being friendly to our environment is a small contribution but a good one.

A small change in all of ICANN's presentations to NOT use colored backgrounds on any page in powerpoint is a small step to not using up our environment. And, no, we can't refuse to let people print out our materials. Some of us can only work on the plane from paper versions.

And, yes, I will have substantive comments for tomorrow's call. However, if I am successful in this small change, it might actually I did something meaningful for the Internet's footprint [and ICANN's] in our global world.

M
