Thanks Jonathan.
I like this preample, but I'm a bit concerned with the way the listing
at the end is presented, using "Projects should:".
I think it'd better to introduce the list with the first sentence only:
"Therefore, the CCWG considers the following to be important
guidelines to
applicants seeking auction proceeds funding:"
Otherwise, one might (or should) think that all the listed criteria have
to be fulfilled at once, which would reduce the scope to the most
constraining one, i.e.
"- Support ICANN's community activities and consensus-building
processes"
Another option would be to include this ICANN specific criteria in the
first one, e.g.
"- Be aligned +or in service+ of the ICANN's mission and core
principles"
And keep the "Projects should:" as a AND constraint.
Edit: I think there's a typo: “(concept).
probably should just be concept.
