<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">I value having paid consultants but I just want to be sure I know when I am speaking 'with a paid </p>
<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">consultant, or a volunteer. The value to paid consultant is that they have accountability to be</p>
<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">independent. But just checking as when the staff introduced the name of the speaker, one had to </p>
<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">read the input document to learn that the speaker is a paid consultant. In the future, let's be sure </p>
<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">to always be clear about affiliations and contracted roles.</p>
