>From this meeting report I glean that---

.	Participation is registration-based, not by invitation -- so where does that leave groups discussing who should represent them?
.	In-person attendance is down to about 700 rather than originally announced 1,000-1,050; based on remarks made at a SOTN panel in DC this week, this appears to be due to physical limitations of the hotel meeting room they are using. Also, Brazilians may get 50 of the 700 seats (while other governments are only guaranteed 1).

In addition, while we've been repeatedly told that surveillance is not on the agenda, the reference to consideration of "human rights principles" could well translate into discussions aimed at NSA surveillance.

Finally, checking the proposed schedule, the time in which in-person attendees plus remote participants will have to decide principles and a roadmap is 8.5 actual hours of meetings. Seems very ambitious.
