Nigel, I would also like to call attention to the submission from Jimson Olufuye, member of the CSTD WG EC, which proposes
an approach that is much aligned with CSTD's purpose and would offer an alternative: Jimson will be attending ICANN59.
Perhaps we can talk to him in person about his proposal. It does not offer a change in IGF, or any other mechanism but enhances
the informational role of CSTD, which, after all, is in line with its mission.

Good evening. The Chair of the CSTD Working Group on Enhanced Cooperation, Ambassador Benedicto Fonseca has produced the attached summary of the third meeting of the Group that took place on 3-5 May 2017 in Geneva.

The operative paragraphs are 8-10; with paragraph 8 noting the discussion of whether, and if so what, Institutional Frameworks were needed to discuss Internet Governance issues (including those in the ICANN Mission). This will be an issue returned to in the penultimate discussions of the WG in September.
