[ccwg-internet-governance] Notes of CCWG-IG call of Monday, February 4

I don't see a problem with the Chairs having a working session during lunch, Olivier, as after all, it is a closed session.

Many thanks for your response.

Dear Marilyn,

thanks for your kind email. One of the problems is that Sunday is usually very busy for both the ALAC and the GNSO already as they have their main working sessions - plus not all rooms are ready on Sunday. that being said, we are still trying to find another slot that Monday for the public session.
As for the Thursday F2F meeting, the ICANN65 kick-off is just a meeting of the coordinating SO/AC/SG/C Chairs to coordinate the agenda. The host presentation will take place later in the afternoon at the public meeting. That said, I am concerned about a GNSO council meeting listed to take place during that lunchtime?
Kindest regards,

Olivier

Dear colleagues

Thanks for the report and apologies for a late breaking conflict that prevented my personal attendance.

I want to raise concerns on timing. Perhaps I am wrong but it appears [we only have the block schedule but staff may have deeper insights] that ICANN staff is proposing a public session at the same time as the Strategic Planning session.

That is a conflict for many that we want in the public session.

The Thursday session proposal from staff is the time of the ICANN 65 kick off. I am not clear on the topics or visibility for that, but we should not be respectful of a host presentation. Maybe we can start earlier for that f-f working session.

I have commitments with the Auction Proceeds CCWG but I am not alone one that.
Could we move our f-f to Sunday?
