Marilyn, Yeseul and colleagues

Good evening.  As noted we will prepare a Note on IG Developments for our ICANN 66 Session.  This can, indeed include an update on ICANN involvement in IGF 2019.

In addition, subject to views, we can give an oral update, along with you and others, on the booth and other engagement opportunities.

Best

Nigel

Dear Yeseul

I can volunteer to provide a 30 sec per session overview of the 6 NRI Collaborative Sessions and the NRI Main Session, as most of the NRI coordinators are also actively engaged in ICANN, and in the past, ICANN has been a strong contributor of speakers, and also sponsorship to the NRIs.

If that is of interest.

I can do more on a overview of the IGF2019 in general, but Nigel/Veni should update on ICANN's specific events, and their booth, as I understand that might be a space for members of the community to share materials.

But we should start with a sort of survey of who is attending IGF2019, whether confirmed, or tentative, so that we know who is coming. Perhaps staff can just do a simple survey monkey. Yes/no/tentative, which the CCWG-IG can respond to.

IGF2019 registration:

I can see the ICANN staff registered, but can't always tell who else from the CCWG-IG is -- but the registration for IGF 2019 is open, whether for in person or remote participation.

Dear Oliver and all

I also support the proposed agenda and also support a briefing on cybersecurity issues by other participants including Veni.

Just to suggest one more, can we also have a briefing on what other IG venues are there (e.g. Rightscon) that ICANN participants might be present next year? It will be helpful for us to have a broad map of these venues for further participation. More conferences/organizations are emerging and would be happy to know as many as possible.

In addition to these, what about a brief introduction to this year's IGF sessions which will be held by any ICANN members or ICANN?

Thanks.

Best,

Yeseul

 Best regards,

 Yeseul Kim
