[ChineseGP] Updates from ICANN : Chinese Generation Proposal

Hi Everyone

         

         The proposal has been added to the public zone LGR Project
workspace.

 

         And we probably will have 3 more members from SGNIC and CNNIC.

This message is regarding the Proposal for the Generation Panel for the
Chinese Script Label Generation Ruleset for the Root Zone. Please note that
the Proposal has been added to the public Root Zone LGR Project workspace
and the Chinese Generation Panel status has been updated as shown at:

We would like to inform you that the Proposal is currently under review by
ICANN and we expect to provide a reply to the members shortly.

 

We also wanted to let you know that ICANN has received statements of
interest related to the Chinese LGR work from three (3) additional
individuals that are currently not listed in the proposed membership list:

 

・         Ryan Tan - ryan at sgnic.sg - Singapore Network Information Center
(SGNIC)

 

・         QiChao - qichao at cnnic.cn - China Internet Network Information
Center (CNNIC) in Beijing, China

 

・         Zhiwei Yan - yanzhiwei at cnnic.cn - CNNIC in China

 

We will also share your contact information to facilitate their addition to
the working group.

         On 14th March, CGP held the joint meeting with CDNC, elected chair
and drafted the outline of proposal.

 

         Now we have finished the CGP proposal and submit it for review and
approval.

 

         We noticed that there are still volunteers applying to join the
panel, we will update the information in Chapter 2 synchronously with ICANN
.

 

         Please feel free to inform us of your suggestions and comments on
the proposal.
