I can not think of another business that would allow such increases without putting the product/service out to bid. </p><p style="font-size: 16px; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px 0px 28px; padding: 0px; color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; background-color: rgb(245, 245, 245);">Verisign is merely the manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price, and no justification in increasing the price.</p><p style="font-size: 16px; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px 0px 28px; padding: 0px; color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; background-color: rgb(245, 245, 245);">ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest.
