<p class="MsoNormal">We, the co-chairs (Alice Munyua and Pua Hunter) of the GAC Underserved Regions Working Group (USR WG), would like to commend ICANN for commissioning studies of the Domain Names Marketplace for underserved regions with the first one being
assessing the state of the DNS sector in Africa. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This study is consistent with the GAC USR WG work plan and we would like to urge ICANN board to commission similar studies in other regions; Asia Pacific, Latin America, Caribbean and the Middle East.<o:p></o:p></p>
