Allowing this form of capitalist monopoly on TLDs affects a lot of us small business owners, libraries, academic institutions, non-profits and personal blogs and websites and the web at large. This makes it difficult for us to keep costs of running our internet businesses down as the domain is literally an unavoidable fixed cost. Good domains are expensive as it is.
