I first started creating my websites over eight years ago when I was a freshman in high school. As a student, I thought that websites were unattainable, but that wasn’t the case. I was able to get set up on a .org domain for an affordable price. That low barrier to entry made web design on a “real website” attainable and most importantly accessible to a student on a limited budget. </div><div><br></div><div>If there are price hikes on .org domains, this means fewer people will have access to top level domains. This makes the internet LESS accessible rather than MORE accessible. </div><div><br></div><div>There are many reasons why I and so many others love the internet, but least of those reasons is accessibility.
