[council] Topics for joint meeting with the ALAC

Hi,

We have a breakfast meeting scheduled with the ALAC for 22 June  
(Sunday) in Paris.  The topics proposed by the ALAC are:

> The following subjects are proposed as an agenda for discussions  
> between the ALAC and the GNSO at the meeting in Paris on Sunday. Can  
> you confirm with the council or the chair as appropriate if these  
> subjects would be agreeable - or if there are any other/different  
> subjects that they would wish to discuss?

> 1.    New gTLDs (IDN and Non-IDN)

> *     Importance of community support  - Focus on the element of  
> community support (where relevant to a particular application) on a  
> new gTLD and what this means with regards to the new PDP process

> 2.    Public Comment Period Length

> *     Near-impossibility of gaining global consensus in 30 days,  
> especially in multiple languages

> 3.    Improving communications between the AC and the SO
>
> *     At the regional level
