Dear Councillors,

Please find the revised minutes, (redline and clean version attached) for the GNSO Council meeting on 4 September 2014.

Mary Wong has suggested the following revision which has been noted in the minutes that are attached (redline version and clean version).

Item 4: MOTION - A proposed modification of the GNSO's consensus recommendations relating to IGO acronyms and Red Cross identifiers

The Action Item  has been amended from:

"Communicate to the NGPC, the GNSO intention to examine specific aspects and the potential to modify the GNSO's consensus recommendations relating to IGO acronyms and Red Cross identifiers."


To the suggested change:
"Communicate to the NGPC the GNSO Council's willingness to consider amending specific aspects of the remaining policy recommendations relating to IGO acronyms and certain Red Cross identifiers in accordance with the GNSO's procedures, and seeking the NGPC's confirmation of the Council's understanding of the nature of the amendments that may be made."


If there are no comments, these minutes will be published on the website as approved, according to the GNSO Rules of Procedure http://gnso.icann.org/en/council/op-procedures-13jun13-en.pdf <http://gnso.icann.org/en/council/op-procedures-13jun13-en.pdf%20> > section  3.5  "If no objections are received within 10 days, the minutes will be deemed  to have been approved for posting" on 11 October 2014.
