[council] GNSO Chair election timeline and incoming councilors

As mentioned during the wrap-up session, please note that the 1 September date for new councilors is a target date. As incoming Council members are now also eligible for nomination as Council chair, the sooner these incoming members are known, the more time the houses have to consider the different candidates. It is of course up to each SG/C to set the timetable for their respective Council seat elections.

Best regards,

Marika

Subject: [council] GNSO Chair election timeline and incoming councilors

Dear all,

Please see attached the timeline for the GNSO Chair nomination open date and election.

Please remember that new councilors are eligible for nomination as Council chair so the Stakeholder Groups and Constituencies’ elections should be over by the date of nominations. New councilors are to be announced on the 1st September 2017.

Kind regards,

Nathalie
