We began our work in October 2010, and aim to conclude by the end of 2011. The scope of work and roadmap of the WHOIS RT as well as its activities may be found on the community wiki at <a href="https://community.icann.org/display/whoisreview/WHOIS+Policy+Review+Team">https://community.icann.org/display/whoisreview/WHOIS+Policy+Review+Team</a>. We have recently concluded our first public comment period on our early definitional work, and proposed approach, and are nearing the end of our information gathering phase.</div><div><br></div><div>The WHOIS Review Team will hold a third public face-to-face meeting in Singapore on Sunday, 19 June and invite the ICANN community to interact with them on Wednesday, 22 June. </div><div><br></div><div>In addition to this schedule, the RT Members unanimously expressed the wish to meet with the gNSO. Unfortunately, due to schedule conflicts, it was not possible for us to schedule time together during the San Francisco ICANN, but of course, given the gNSO's leading role in WHOIS policy debate over the years, we believe it is essential for the WHOIS Review Team members to understand your members' experiences, perspectives and views on both the policy and implementation of WHOIS. As your feedback and comments are key to the success of our project, it would be a great honour if the WHOIS Policy Review Team could please join your session or schedule a meeting with you to exchange views.
