thank you for your patience since my last email. I am happy to say
that I have now received a reply from Rafik on behalf of the JAS WG.
The suggested date of Tuesday 7th June would be suitable for the
call you suggest below.<br>
The suggested starting time was, as noted previously, 13:00 UTC.<br>

I'll let Seth Green, At-Large staff, arrange to get the ball
rolling. In order to maximise usefulness, may I suggest the
following:<br>
<br>
- the JAS WG should host the meeting<br>
- The agenda should be set up and adopted jointly before the meeting
by the groups attending. Note that Board and GAC members planning to
attend should be asked to submit a list of agenda topics (so prior
notice of attendees from these groups will be needed). Once the
agenda is final, it should be distributed beforehand to the JAS
mailing list and all expected attendees.<br>

the JAS WG report (with the participation of the board and
GAC) will be helpful, and toward this end, it would be useful
to have a conference call. Please let me know if this makes
sense to you and let me know when you want to have the call,
if indeed you want to have it.</span></div>
