However, in Singapore, the JIG alerted the GNSO to the fact that it still has more work to be done.<br><br>The GNSO Council discussed this at its Singapore wrap-up meeting, which Edmon attended.<br><br>As our next teleconference is on July 21, it was suggested that a motion might be put forward to extend the JIG's charter as required. Edmon indicated that he would provide the Council with a timeline for completion of the remaining work in order to help such a motion be drafted.<br><br>To date, no motion has been submitted to the Council, but as we are still in the "quiet period" that always follows an ICANN meeting, one may be submitted soon.<br><br>Lesley, I wanted to inform you of the GNSO's work on this, and coordinate the GNSO's efforts with the ccNSO's.<br><br>Edmon, I wanted to remind you that our deadline for submitting motions for our next Council meeting is July 13, so the Council would probably need to get your timeline quite soon.<br><br>Thanks,<br><br>Stéphane</div></blockquote></div><br></div></body></html>
