We assigned three staff members to oversee the three task requests made by the JAS. <br><br>1) Final report - Seth. We discussed carefully with Seth to ensure he could meet existing ALAC obligations and do this work in addition. Seth has been attending JAS calls and possesses excellent writing skills so is an excellent candidate for this position. He will be supported by other ICANN staff in this regard.<br><br>2) Process flow - Dane Suenga of the new gTLD Program Office. Dane has already led two meetings attending by several ICANN new gTLD staff to take the JAS provided chart and added additional detail. This draft flow is nearly ready to be shared with the JAS group for discussion.<br><br>3) Guidebook-like Guide for applicants of support - Lynn Lipinski of the Communications staff. Lynn also has excellent written skills and we are fortunate that Scot Pinzon and Barbara Clay agreed that she be reed up for this effort. I think Lynn's effort will start as the Final Report and Flow Chart are close to being closed.<br><br>Our staff assistant, Wendy Profit has been made available to aid in any of these tasks. Anand Mishra, from Carole Cornell's Project Management team, is constructing a "backwards pass" schedule to ensure we can meet our goals.<br>I am sorry you are not aware of these assignments but this team and others have been working hard the past couple weeks on this. Karla is coordinating and managing the entire effort. She and I are attending each of the staff working meetings on all three topics.<br><br>Please reply with any questions you might have.
