2011 the GNSO Council approved the charter for the Standing Committee on GNSO
Improvements Implementation (SCI);</FONT></SPAN></P>

lang=EN-US style="FONT-FAMILY: "><FONT face="Times New Roman">2. In 2013 the SCI
determined that the Charter as originally approved no longer reflected the
current role of the SCI as a standing committee, and furthermore did not contain
procedures for selecting the Chair and Vice-Chair of the SCI;</FONT></SPAN></P>

requested guidance from the GNSO Council as to how to proceed with revisions to
the Charter that would address its concerns;</FONT></SPAN></P>

on 05 September 2013 the GNSO Council endorsed the SCI as a standing committee
and further requested that the SCI proceed to revise the Charter as it may deem
necessary, with the exception of the section on Decision

know from former discussions on council the SCI could not find an agreement on
the Decision making process and requested the council to deal with this and come
up with a recommendation (“full consensus” or “WG guideline oriented”). If the
council until the next meeting comes to an agreement (through discussion on the
list) the motion can be amended accordingly.</STRONG></FONT></SPAN></P>
