The objective is to create an informal forum where GNSO Councillors can come together after the SG / Constituency meetings on a Tuesday in order to permit effective cross-GNSO discussion of complex or contentious issues, particularly when such discussion may improve the quality or effectiveness of the Council’s work. The Council facilitating such discussion seems entirely appropriate.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>Clearly, the value is in creating an environment where productive and meaningful discussion can take place, including attempting to resolve challenging / contentious issues where necessary. It seems to me that we could do with effective participation but not make it too large a group.
