<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">I will run this past IPC for input, but (also as a personal opinion) I am unaware of any ongoing work of the Council to develop a “backup plan” should the ePDP fail. That would require us to be knee deep in an
e-ePDP (emergency, expedited policy development process), which we aren’t and which we can’t (at least under any mechanism I am aware of). We need to make sure that those with actual skin in this game - Those needing to comply with GDPR to protect their
businesses and those needing access to information to fight abuse in order to protect their businesses, consumers, and citizens - are laser focused and not distracted.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

this should not be a nuisance to the EPDP, or worse destabilize it. In fact, and whilst I appreciate the board’s intention, it’s difficult to see how it wouldn’t. Personal opinion too.
