<p class="MsoNormal">Attached is an updated draft GNSO Council response to the ICANN Board’s 14 November letter concerning the EPDP, and specifically requesting an update on possible back-up plans.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I previously circulated a draft on 26 December and received one request to avoid enumerating any specific back-up plan considerations. I have removed those in the attached letter, other than where we refer to the EPDP Initial Report language.
I also added some other general text. Rafik, Pam and I are all in agreement this letter is ready to go.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I plan to send this before the end of the week to ensure it is received before the EPDP WG meets F2F next week. We are late in our response to Cherine and the Board, so please review this ASAP. I will send COB Thursday.<o:p></o:p></p>
