<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">The attached notice, dated 2 July 2019, concerns the GNSO’s obligations as a decisional participant in the Empowered Community vis-à-vis approval of the FY21-25 Strategic Plan. This notice triggered the bylaw-mandated
21-day period for decisional participants to consider initiating a Rejection Action Process (RAP).<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Here’s the relevant language from the letter:<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:.5in"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">“This Board Notice triggers the Empowered Community Rejection Action Process as set out at<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:.5in"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Annex D, Section 2 of the ICANN Bylaws. The timeline for the Empowered Community’s<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:.5in"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">exercise of this Rejection Action Process will be tracked, including the associated deadlines, at<o:p></o:p></span></p>
