For this particular cycle, the NomCom will appoint a single non-voting member to the GNSO Council, who is not affiliated with a specific house.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'>Staff has extracted the criteria used by the NomCom in 2019 for GNSO appointees (here: <a href="https://www.icann.org/nomcom2019-positions">https://www.icann.org/nomcom2019-positions</a>) and created a Google document for the Council to suggest changes (here: <a href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/1WzjvntnliTSZ43b0hJkhh_Hb2onzxXufmTnZJCEyGjU/edit?usp=sharing">https://docs.google.com/document/d/1WzjvntnliTSZ43b0hJkhh_Hb2onzxXufmTnZJCEyGjU/edit?usp=sharing</a>). Note that the NomCom has suggested three additional questions to consider in reviewing the criteria – those have also been included in the Google doc. Council leadership has already reviewed and made some suggested edits, which you will find in suggestion mode.
