leadership therefore wants to make sure the process applied by the SSC for their recommendation to Council is fully transparent.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB" style="color:#1F497D;mso-fareast-language:EN-US">Following that introduction and the discussion we will have, what is expected from us is as usual for any SSC’s recommendation is the
<a href="https://community.icann.org/display/GSSC/2.+Charter">following</a>: “Following receipt of the SSC recommendations, the GNSO Council is expected to consider the proposed candidate(s) for approval. Should the GNSO Council disagree, or partially disagree,
with the SSC recommendations, it has the ability to 1) approve the recommendations in part or 2) return the recommendations to the SSC with a request for further consideration.”.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

by the Competition, Consumer Trust and Consumer Choice Review Team (CCT-RT), which made recommendations regarding the subject. In considering the CCT-RT Final Report, the ICANN Board took varying actions on 35 total recommendations, accepting some, passing
