[Ctn-crosscom] Feedback sought and update on next meeting

Dear colleagues,

I'll add my voice to Paul's and Annebeth's. We've made good progress and now it is important to come together as a group to ensure that these preliminary findings that will go out to the community are truly 'ours' and not the work of a few on the CCWG.

Best wishes,

Heather

Dear all,

As one of the three co-Chairs Paul is referring to I strongly support this line of action. For us to arrive at the best possible solution for these difficult issues we depend on the members from the different stakeholder groups taking interest in how country & territory names in all variations should be used as TLDs in the future.

Please let us hear your opinion.

Kind regards,
Annebeth

Thank you Lars and hello all,

I proposed the cancellation of Monday's call given that our single agenda item was the approval of changes to the Options Paper and the solicitation of comments on the proposed questionnaire.

This does not mean that I (or my three co-Chairs) do not welcome feedback, comments and challenges to the proposals.

Rather, I think both the edits and the draft questionnaire are self-explanatory, so it is far more appropriate for everyone to read through the documents at a time that is appropriate for them and send comments back when they are ready.

In return for clearing an hour in your collective schedules, I would very much welcome your comments and feedback by the deadline proposed by Lars.

Regards,

Paul

Importance: High

Dear all,

Following our last call, you find attached proposed wording on 2-character codes on pages 20-21 of the Options Paper (attached). The text is in red.

You will also find a proposed questionnaire on 3-character codes.

Please provide feedback on both documents at your earliest convenience - regarding the questionnaire, please do send your feedback no later than Monday 10 August COB! Note, that this feedback is just about whether you agree with the wording of the two documents. A deadline on actual replies to the questionnaire will be sent out once the wording is finalised.

Finally, in agreement with the co-Chairs we are going to cancel Monday's call. We will meet next on 24 August 2015 at 20:00 UTC (local times<http://tinyurl.com/ovywzbc>).

Best wishes,

Lars
