<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:36.0pt"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">In preparation of the Hyderabad meeting, the Cross-Community Working Group on the Use of Country and Territory Names as TLDs (CWG-UCTN:
<a href="https://ccnso.icann.org/workinggroups/ccwg-unct.htm">https://ccnso.icann.org/workinggroups/ccwg-unct.htm</a> ) has prepared two reports: a <a href="https://ccnso.icann.org/workinggroups/ccwg-ctn-progress-25oct16-en.pdf">Progress report</a> and its <a href="https://ccnso.icann.org/workinggroups/ccwg-ctn-draft-interim-report-25oct16-en.pdf">draft
Interim report</a>. Based on the discussions to date, community input and the discussions in Helsinki (ICANN55), the Working Group concluded that for various reasons a harmonised framework for the use of country, territory and other geographic names is not
feasible. The CWG will discuss further steps at its <a href="http://sched.co/8czS">f-2-f meeting in Hyderabad</a>.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
